Robert Sweet studied history and literature at Oxford University as an English Speaking Union Scholar and Arabic and history in Syria as a Fulbright Scholar; he earned two master’s degrees. He has been an advisor to Princeton University, Aga Khan University, The American University in Cairo, and other institutions.
Robert makes presentations on Life Fighting at intellectual, social, and country clubs. In the presentation, he tells the story of how Talleyrand broke Napoleon’s hold on Europe, of how he fought Napoleon; as he speaks, he shows lovely paintings of the individuals and incidents in the story. Robert has spoken at the Wharton Club of New York, the Princeton Club of New York, the University Club and City Club of Washington, D.C., the Nassau Club in Princeton, and elsewhere.
